International Women's Day 2023

For International Women's Day I was asked to give a talk at SoHo House to a group larger than my normal Enlightened Entrepreneur events there. Whenever I'm faced with a different variable in my speaking engagements, I get excited, because it means I get to play with the format of my talk and shake things up.

For this group, I passed out blank index cards and invited each woman to write the one thing weighing on her most in her business. I collected the cards and read them aloud—anonymously. (A larger group size makes it possible to do this without people worrying they'll be "found out").

I've been working with women entrepreneurs long enough that the responses didn't surprise me. Responses like:

"fear of failure"
"lack of confidence when I'm supposed to be confident"
"trusting that the steps I'm taking will lead to success"
"feeling like I'm working hard and getting burned out, but not getting the results I want"
"the economy is constricting, and there are less opportunities available"
"I'm not finding fulfillment the way I thought I would"
"getting in my own way: procrastination and motivation"
"uncertainty, will it all work out and am I ready for it?"

The experience of being your own boss can be extremely empowering, but it can also be riddled with self doubt.

And, because we're talking about business, making money is a big part of being confident, succeeding and feeling empowered.

This is why I am teaching a 90-minute workshop called Money Momentum. It's free for Age of E members. I will cover the most important steps I use to get (and keep) the money rolling in my life and business. I've learned many of these the hard way, and I'm happy to share them to make your experience easier.

If you've been considering joining Age of E, maybe now is the time. Membership is only $40/month and you can cancel anytime. (So yes, you can enroll, take the Money Momentum workshop and then cancel—but my hope is that you'll find so much value in the other content and community, you'll stay on).

The workshop will be recorded and posted to the app for all members who cannot attend live.
